If you need a cake for a birthday, quinceañera, or another gathering in Irving or the DFW area, Conchitas takes special orders. That is a phone call for a quote and a date — not a slice you grab from the same tray as pan dulce.
The bakery can make cakes and desserts for events. Walk-in slices are still there when you only want cake today.
What people order cakes for
Birthdays
The most common call. A whole cake, planned ahead, instead of a single rebanada.
Quinceañeras
A quinceañera cake is a special order. Bring the date, the size you have in mind, and any design notes when you call.
Family gatherings
Baptisms, graduations, and other get-togethers. The shop’s special-orders page is for any kind of event, not only one holiday.
Tres leches
A slice is on the online menu. A full tres leches for a party is ordered the same way as any other celebration cake. More on the slice.
How to order
Use Pedidos Especiales or call the bakery. You will set a date, talk through the cake, and get a quote. Do not leave this until the morning of the party.
Have the date, how many people you are serving, and the occasion ready. If you care about tres leches, a particular filling, or writing on the cake, say so on that call.
A slice today, a cake for the date
The case still has slices — tres leches, torta, flan, pineapple volteado — when you want dessert without planning an event.
